Think about it—a factory originally specialized in manufacturing and developing milk and probiotic products. If you lather first, you're washing with bubbles, and you need to rub it into very creamy bubbles like cake frosting. That's when washing is most comfortable.

This Yonotsugio facial cleanser produces very creamy bubbles (by the way, before this I was using Mentholatum), and it's easy to lather, which also means you don't need to use much. One bottle lasts about six to eight months per person. The bubbles are extremely creamy—the comfort level when washing is completely different. Plus there are no chemical fragrances, so it feels really nice on your face. You'll be reluctant to rinse it off, and toward the end you get the feeling of fine powder helping to clean away dead skin cells and blackheads.

Most importantly, if you've used the Japanese Sekkisei facial cleanser (I'd bet 99% of people bring one home from Japan XD), your face feels very tight after washing. Some people think that's cleanliness and skin tightening, but I think it disrupts your skin's pH balance, which is why it feels so tight. For me, winter is very uncomfortable.
