In August of last year, Xiao Ka Cat Dog Rescue Volunteer Group received a report and rescued a kitten in Xinzhuang, New Taipei City that had suffered fractured joints and rectal prolapse from a car accident. The kitten's condition was extremely critical, requiring "bowel resection surgery" with only a 20% survival rate. However, the kitten displayed an incredibly strong will to survive, recovered well after surgery, and was adopted by a beauty salon in Sanchong. One year later, it has become an exceptionally capable salon cat.
According to Xiao Ka Cat Dog Rescue Volunteer Group, after the kitten was hit by a car in Xinzhuang, it was rushed to an animal hospital in Sanchong for emergency treatment. At that time, its front leg joints were fractured, its intestines prolapsed, and the intestinal tissue was severely necrotic—the situation was extremely grave and the kitten was barely alive. From the rescue footage, you could see the kitten was nearly lifeless and unable to move, while rescue volunteers insisted on asking the veterinarian to perform surgery to save it.

However, the veterinarian noted that "bowel resection surgery" had only a 20% survival rate, and given the kitten's injuries from the accident, there was considerable risk involved. But surprisingly, the kitten demonstrated an extraordinarily strong will to survive, recovering rapidly after surgery. The Caiden Styling Beauty Salon on Darong Road in Sanchong decided to adopt the kitten and named it ViVi.

One year later, ViVi has transformed from a kitten on the brink of death into an incredibly energetic salon cat. It has even made friends and occasionally jumps onto the grooming chairs to play with customers, which is quite therapeutic. The beauty salon has adopted a total of five cats and dogs. Because the shop owner is also a passionate animal lover, customers can bring their pets inside to accompany them while they receive services. According to Xiao Ka Cat Dog Rescue Volunteer Group, the veterinarian was astonished when seeing the kitten's current state, saying, "This cat's will to survive is truly remarkable!"
